Rain Volume

The Pluvio is even cheaper and only gives information about the rain volume per required time unit. The advantage is that the messages to the ‘cloud’ are short and needs a minimal of power.

Together with other companies we support farmers to pro-actively manage their farm, using less water while achieving higher yield.

With local soil moisture, local rainfall and actual crop water consumption known, irrigation requirements are calculated with a substantially higher local accuracy then was possible before.

Therefore we combine in-situ rain and soil moisture measurements with satellite based crop water use data. This increases agricultural water productivity and provides better insight in the amount of water used for agricultural production.
